Oh well, moan and whine won't make it better, will it? =P So I'll try to make the most of it. I can't paint as much, so I'll get to the things I've been neglecting, like my message centre. I'd also like to comment some more, we need more activity here. But, as it happens in other sites, I'm afraid of people not liking having their work being critiqued, so most of the time I refrain from commenting on other's work. So, if you have something you'd like critique on, post a link here and I'll get to it.
I won't give you blind praise, but I've got plenty of honest opinions and advice to share, so if that's what you want that's what I'll give.

What do you think about giving/receiving these messages?

Saying "thank you " is the least I/they can do.
They're annoying as hell.
I'd rather receive/give a comment back.
It gets tiring when all you receive are thank yous.
It shows appreciation.
